UNLOCK is a pathway which gives new students the necessary competence in READING and writing in English, so that they can cement their place as a full-time ESF student.
Participation in the UNLOCK programme means that a child will attend Discovery College as normal. However, over a period of 6 to 12 months, they will also attend intensive, assessed English language classes tailored to bring their proficiency up to speed.
UNLOCK programme is only available for Secondary Years 7-10 applicants.

LOCATION
Discovery College is located in Discovery Bay, a pleasant, safe and picturesque location on Lantau Island.

While many DC students reside in Discovery Bay, a significant number come from other parts of Hong Kong. Bus routes run from Tung Chung, Tsing Yi and South Lantau, and students - particularly in Secondary - are able to travel to school from across the territory.
